I have just come from a 3-week trip to Morocco where I went to work from home, from our offices in Marrakech. This is where our telemigration teams work for our clients in Quebec. I wanted to share with you six captivating slices of life from my stay in Morocco! 🇲🇦✈
As soon as I arrived, I was struck by the predominance of French in daily life, people almost all speak French, the signs in the streets are in French and Arabic and the restaurants have menus in French. It felt a bit like home!
Did you know that in Morocco there is a law that protects palm trees? No palm tree can be uprooted, so there are even some in the middle of the path! Photo in proof.
A pleasant surprise was the efficiency of teleworking from our offices in Morocco. The infrastructures and the computer equipment facilitated my remote installation, it was very pleasant to work there and especially with the gang of boys!
A great tradition with our teams, every Friday is a moment of sharing and pleasure. And it's so good!
I had to take advantage of it! Nothing beats the experience of a camel ride through Morocco's magnificent desert landscapes. An experience that will remain etched in my memory forever.
Well yes, celery. My colleague showed me celery and I said, “No, it's parsley!” After feeling, I had to face the facts. It really was celery! I couldn't believe it. See the photos for yourself:)
